Canon 5D Mark IV Waterhousing

  • Classic Front loading design

  • Dedicated Plexiglas faceplate accepts a wide range of front ports

  • Solid sealing of housing utilizing two-arm low profile screw heads.

    • Plexiglas comes into contact with the flange of the housing

    • The “Solid Black Line” that indicates a proper seal is easy to see thru the Plexiglas.

  • Pistol grip features an ergonomic handle and great tactile feedback from the two-stage switch

  • The first of its kind in the industry, our soft silicone spring loaded half domes provide the photographer with face friendly controls. Hard metal push buttons that protrude from the back of a housing are hardly the distraction you need when you’re composing your shot. Soft silicone domes are the perfect solution to hard steel. Soft and easy to push, the dome is natures perfect design as it retains it’s shape even at depth. This means you can work up to one atmosphere deep without fear that the domes will collapse at pressure. Pressing a dome corresponds into a press of the button on the camera.

  • The largest half dome control is for the “Still to Video” control that is made up of a rotating collar and a push button in the middle. A vertical tab is inside the dome and by squeezing the tab with your thumb and forefinger and then slightly rotating the tab turns the collar of the still to video control. The Dome will twist enough to allow you to use rotate the collar on the control. Release the dome and the control stays while the dome returns to its original shape. A simple push of the spring loaded dome is all you need to start and stop recording.

  • The faceplate is made of 3/8” cast Plexiglas making it easy for you to see that the “Black Line” develops as the O-Ring is compressed. Our Port Docking system featuring a simple bayonet mount design, is a foolproof way to attach a port allowing you to easily work with different ports. From our ProDome port and other specialty dome ports to our extensive line-up of flat ports,

  • The Zoom control is on camera left and when pulled out, the zoom control is disengaged. When disengaged, you won’t have to worry if your chosen focal length changes if the control gets nudged. Simply push in on the control knob and the bevel drive gear engages the zoom drive gear built into the faceplate. The bevel drive gear provides solid direct drive to the zoom gear and is easily engaged and disengaged.
